Suavecito Blanco
The incredibly smooth and robust flavor of Suavecito Tequila starts with our Blanco. Made from 100% Weber blue agave grown at 7,000 ft in the Central Highlands of Mexico, we distill this foundational tequila using traditional techniques but create a spirit that’s distinctly its own. While irresistible neat, our Blanco mixes perfectly in any type of cocktail.

Tequila 101
All tequila is made from Weber blue agave, a succulent plant that grows primarily in the Jalisco region of Mexico. Much as Champagne can only be made in France and Bourbon in the U.S., tequila can only be made in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. There are two main categories of tequila — 100% blue agave and mixto. 100% blue agave is tequila made entirely from the Weber blue agave plant, while mixto tequila is made from 51% agave and 49% filler, usually a combination of other sugars and caramel coloring.

Tequila FAQs
How is Suavecito made?
We craft Suavecito Tequila using traditional, time-honored tequila production methods. First, we harvest the mountain-grown Weber blue agave from our fields in the highlands of Central Mexico by hand before cooking the agave to break down the plant’s fibers to release the natural sugars within. The cooked agave is then milled to extract the juice and fermented in tanks for several days. The fermented juice is then distilled in copper pots to produce our Suavecito Blanco tequila. We then double-age our Suavecito Reposado tequila and Suavecito Añejo tequila in retired American Oak Bourbon barrels for between eight months for our Reposado and five years for our Suavecito Extra Anejo. Finally, we finish our tequila by returning 2% agave nectar to create an exceptionally smooth and easy-to-drink tequila that must be tried to be believed.
How should I drink Suavecito?
Suavecito Tequila is meant to be enjoyed however you prefer to drink tequila. The smooth, easy drinking quality of our blanco tequila makes it the perfect choice for mixing margaritas and cocktails of every flavor profile. If you’re looking for an easy sipping tequila similar in profile to a quality whiskey, you may consider trying the Suavecito Añejo. If looking for something to sip or use in a cocktail, the Suavecito Reposado makes an excellent choice that’s perfect no matter how you enjoy it.
Is tequila a low-calorie spirit?
Yes, tequila has fewer calories than any other spirit at just 68 calories an ounce. This makes tequila an excellent option for those who enjoy a low-calorie spirit.
How does Suavecito compare to other top-shelf tequilas?
A bottle of tequila with a leather label doesn’t always signify quality. It’s the process, craft, love, and attention to detail that separates the quality of one rested tequila from another. Unlike most other top-shelf tequilas, we extend the aging process for Suavecito Tequila to create a smoother, more robust flavor profile. Suavecito Tequila is the only tequila with agave nectar on the market. The 2% agave nectar we add back to our tequila eliminates any unwanted burning sensation and helps make Suavecito so incredibly smooth.
