Pomegranate Ginger Paloma
Ingredients for Ginger Syrup:
- ½ cup Honey
- 1 inch Fresh Ginger, chopped
- 8 leaves Mint
Ingredients for Paloma:
- ½ cup Pomegranate Juice
- ⅓ cup Grapefruit Juice
- Juice of 1/2 a Lime
- 2-4 tablespoons Ginger Syrup
- 2-3 oz Suavecito Reposado Tequila
- Ginger Beer or Sparkling Water for topping
Directions:
For the Ginger Syrup:
Bring ½ cup of water, honey, and ginger to a boil over high heat.
Once boiling, simmer for 1-2 minutes, then remove from the heat.
Add the mint leaves, cover them, and steep them for 10-15 minutes.
Strain out the ginger and mint, then store the syrup in a glass jar in the fridge.
It will keep for up to 2 weeks.
For the Paloma:
Fill your glass halfway with crushed ice.
Add the pomegranate juice, grapefruit juice, lime juice, ginger syrup, and Suavecito Reposado Tequila.
Stir to combine the ingredients well.
Top off with ginger beer or sparkling water, adding a fizzy, refreshing finish.
Garnish with a sprig of mint to enhance the drink’s aroma and add a pop of color.
